Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing. Witbound has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising, and no backend server. The app's App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.

Your books and audio

Books and audiobooks you import are copied into Witbound's private storage on your device and are processed there, using Apple's on-device speech engine. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared. Deleting a book from your library, or deleting the app, removes them.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, name, or address. Manage or cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Network access

Witbound makes no network requests of its own. The only network activity is Apple's — App Store purchases and receipt validation by the operating system.

Children

Witbound does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Your rights (UK GDPR / GDPR)

Because Witbound processes no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or erase. If you believe otherwise, contact us and we will help.

Changes

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature needs network access — the change will be described here before it ships, with a new effective date.
