Which files work?

Ebooks: .epub and .pdf. Audio: .m4b, .m4a, .mp3, .flac, .wav, .aiff. No ebook? Turn on Audio only and Witbound writes the book from the narration, chapter by chapter.

Why won't my Audible / Kindle file open?

Audible (.aax) and Kindle-store books are copy-protected, and the law forbids breaking those locks — so Witbound never will. DRM-free sources work beautifully: Libro.fm, Downpour, LibriVox, Standard Ebooks, Project Gutenberg, and your own CD rips.

How long does syncing take?

A few minutes per hour of audio, done entirely on your iPhone. It runs best while charging. You can leave the app — progress is saved chapter by chapter, and a retry resumes where it stopped.

What's free, what's Plus?

The sample book and your first imported book are free forever. Witbound Plus unlocks unlimited books. If Plus lapses, nothing is deleted — your oldest book stays readable, the rest wait on your shelf and reopen the moment you resubscribe.

Refunds & subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple. Cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds: reportaproblem.apple.com. Use Restore purchases on the paywall if Plus doesn't show up on a new phone.
